What a successful year 2021 was for ReConnect, Inc!
We launched a few new programs, workshops and community initiatives that we are looking forward to continuing in 2022.
We relaunched our Family Matters program as a healthy family relationship is very important during these uncertain times. Through this program, we are able to serve the whole family and not just system-involved youth through family outings, interactive meetings, and counseling.
ReConnect, Inc. is also focusing a greater emphasis on mental health, substance abuse, and affordable housing in order to improve outcomes for our adult and youth clients.
Right Start 2.0 is a new workshop service we offer weekly to help formerly incarcerated clients with basic reentry needs such as job readiness, life skills, and some financial assistance.
With the pandemic still at a high, we hosted numerous webinars regarding various topics such as Cultural Competency in Serving System & Pre-System Involved Youth and Employment Readiness Reimagined. We also launched two virtual networking workshops - Parent Cafe, which helps connect local parents of system-involved youth; and Peer2Peer Network, which helps former incarcerated men and women network with others.
We wrapped up 2021 with our annual Giving of Thanks Luncheon with current and previous clients, hosted a Toy Drive for incarcerated parents to gift their children with Christmas gifts on our tab, and we gifted our youth clients with field trips and holiday gifts as well.
ReConnect, Inc. is looking forward to an even more successful year in 2022!
